Role Overview: This position involves providing compassionate patient care across multiple healthcare facilities as part of a float nursing team. The LPN will support diverse units, perform assessments, procedures, and interventions under RN supervision, and collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled patient care, including assessments and interventions based on physician orders.
- Support patient and caregiver education on self-care and safety.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
- Participate in ongoing training, team projects, and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent and current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 3+ years recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, quick thinking, and patient-focused approach.
