Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float

Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating nursing care to meet patient needs. The nurse promotes safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments within scope of practice and unit standards.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including education, discharge planning, and family support.
  • Deliver direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate proactively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
  • Engage in quality, safety, and departmental improvement activities, including education programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management (preferred).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
