Role: Provides professional nursing care in critical care units, assessing patient conditions, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to hospital policies and state regulations. Collaborates with team members to meet unit goals, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors patient progress.
Responsibilities: Employ critical thinking to recognize changes in patient conditions, document observations, and ensure high-quality care. Flexibility in shift preferences and locations, including Medical ICU and Cardiac Neuro ICU, is available.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; Associate Degree with a plan to obtain a Bachelor’s within five years if applicable
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
- 2-5 years of critical care nursing experience
