Role: The Clinical Team Coordinator supervises nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, assists with orientation, conducts performance appraisals, manages staffing, and addresses performance issues. Facilitates communication among team members, participates in policy development, mentors staff, and promotes evidence-based practices. Ensures regulatory compliance, manages resources efficiently, and addresses patient and family concerns. Supports a healthy work environment aligned with Magnet principles, actively participates in quality improvement, and maintains proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills: Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field; experience in specialty nursing training preferred. Demonstrates leadership, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Ability to coordinate patient care and mentor staff effectively.
Key Duties: Assesses patient needs, develops care plans, administers treatments, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and participates in unit decision-making. Promotes a compassionate, patient-centered environment and contributes to safety and quality initiatives.
