Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. Serving as a key communication link between patients, families, providers, and staff, the RN promotes patient safety, satisfaction, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and care plans, applying professional judgment to ensure effective treatment.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care aligned with policies and procedures.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and ensuring family-centered care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and supporting change efforts to enhance quality and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing development to stay current with industry best practices.
- Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Uphold confidentiality, safety, and ethical standards, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
- Current RN license and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of two years of leadership and Med Surg experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
