Role: The Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe patient care during surgical procedures, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities: Assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, assist in surgeries, and ensure compliance with documentation and care guidelines.
Qualifications: BSN from an accredited program, current Colorado RN license or eligible for licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.
Skills & Duties: Recognize patient needs, communicate effectively, manipulate delicate equipment, assist with patient transfers, and navigate busy clinical environments.
Work Environment: Operating Room, with a 40-hour workweek, variable days, including some nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting, walking, standing, and manual dexterity.
