Role: Cardiac Cath RN supporting diagnosis and treatment in a cardiac catheterization setting, working directly with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities: Provide primary nursing support, assist in procedures, obtain and document patient history and vital signs, prepare and manage laboratory specimens, monitor diagnostic equipment, administer medications and IVs, educate patients, and ensure proper room and equipment setup. Participate in On-Call rotations for acute heart attack care with a 30-minute response time.
Qualifications & Skills: Experience in telemetry, ED, or ICU preferred but not required. Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills. Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required).
Additional Duties: Triage patient calls, assist providers, oversee chart checks, prepare rooms, and support day-to-day clinic activities in a clinical environment.
