Key Responsibilities
- Perform focused cardiac assessments and monitor patient status
- Interpret telemetry and recognize patient changes promptly
- Administer medications and manage IV drips per clinical orders
- Support patients before and after cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health, treatment, and recovery
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure with competence in adult cardiac care
- Strong assessment skills and ability to interpret telemetry
- Safe medication administration and IV infusion management
- Effective communication and patient/family education skills
- Thorough documentation skills in an electronic health record
