Role: Registered Nurse, Oncology
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Guide unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care, communicate effectively with team members, and contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
Qualifications: Current Illinois RN licensure, Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), CPR certification, and at least 1 year of Oncology outpatient infusion experience or relevant ICU/ED/PACU experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Key Duties: Independently deliver care, utilize the nursing process, supervise support staff, and ensure positive patient outcomes. The role involves working 20 hours/week with varied shifts, no weekends or holidays. Compensation is based on experience and expertise.
