Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a specialized unit focused on Palliative, Hospice, and Medical Surgical patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient and family needs.
Coordinate and deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
Formulate and revise care plans, educate patients and families, and facilitate discharge planning.
Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care accordingly.
Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to unit decision-making processes.
Adhere to policies and standards, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from a Nursing Specialty Training Program.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
Additional Details:
Full-time, 0.9 FTE, straight night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
