Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Surgical Trauma Unit

Role Overview: This position involves delivering comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, aligned with state standards and unit policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Educate patients and families, facilitate discharge planning, and monitor intervention effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff, delegate tasks, and adjust assignments based on patient acuity.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Promote teamwork, support quality and safety programs, and contribute to unit and organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a recognized nursing training program.
  • Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, adapt to changing situations, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
