Role Overview: This position involves delivering comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, aligned with state standards and unit policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families, facilitate discharge planning, and monitor intervention effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff, delegate tasks, and adjust assignments based on patient acuity.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Promote teamwork, support quality and safety programs, and contribute to unit and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a recognized nursing training program.
- Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, adapt to changing situations, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
