Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a clinical setting, primarily caring for patients with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, including surgical orthopedic and total joint patients.


Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, developing and coordinating individualized care plans, delivering treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, and evaluating patient responses. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, participates in unit decision-making, problem-solves equipment issues, and contributes to quality and safety initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. Ability to work in private and semi-private rooms within a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills. Adheres to policies and procedures and actively participates in organizational improvement efforts.


Key Duties: Ensure optimal patient and family experiences, promote safety, and support the hospital’s high standards of care recognized by Magnet® designation. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday requirements.
