Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position focusing on a neuro-intensive unit with a diverse patient population, including neurosurgery, neurology, epilepsy, and medical/surgical cases. The role involves assessing, planning, and providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to promote patient safety, satisfaction, and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff to address patient needs.
- Participate in quality, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice decision-making.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and promote a safe, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Ability to perform assessments and provide comprehensive patient care.
