Role Overview: This is a full-time inpatient registered nurse position on a 24-bed advanced acute care unit, providing complex patient care for various medical conditions including pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and postoperative cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet patient needs, promoting safety and satisfaction.
- Perform assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
- Deliver direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and revise care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Contribute to quality and safety initiatives, working toward team and organizational goals.
