Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position on a 30-bed advanced acute care medical unit, providing care primarily to medical patients and serving as backup for trauma, neuro, and surgical cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs.
- Promote safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions with patients and families.
- Coordinate patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary team members and resolve equipment or care issues.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing (required).
- Ability to provide holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
