Role Overview:
This position requires an experienced nurse capable of practicing independently within a clinical setting, delivering both routine and complex care. The nurse will develop long-term care plans, manage contingencies, and delegate tasks to team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work multiple shifts in a full-time capacity.
