Job Summary: This role involves delivering comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with state standards. The nurse will coordinate patient education, discharge planning, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostics following policies and procedures.
- Assess patients within scope of practice and unit standards, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Evaluate and modify nursing interventions based on patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members, delegate tasks, and adjust assignments as needed.
- Promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Engage in quality and safety programs, contributing to organizational improvements and supporting Magnet standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program is required. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to clinical standards.
Position Details: Work involves clinical environment duties, with hours typically from 7am to 730pm, including every other weekend and holiday. The role emphasizes a collaborative, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture.
