Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—ensuring care is individualized and culturally sensitive.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making, maintaining focus on patient goals.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care using interdisciplinary communication methods, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient safety and care quality.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor, and adhering to organizational policies and standards.
