Registered Nurse – Acute Care – Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—ensuring care is individualized and culturally sensitive.
Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making, maintaining focus on patient goals.
Coordinate and document safe, quality care using interdisciplinary communication methods, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient safety and care quality.
Support professional development by completing competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor, and adhering to organizational policies and standards.
Promote evidence-based practice, contribute to protocol development, and engage in data collection to inform clinical decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).

Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.

Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, emergency situations; proficient in technology and clinical documentation.
