Registered Nurse – Acute Care – Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice according to evidence-based standards, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, while upholding organizational policies and promoting service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized care.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
  • Coordinate care delivery, ensuring documentation complies with safety and quality standards.
  • Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development and sustain a qualified workforce.
  • Advance evidence-based practice, participate in research, and support clinical protocol development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety goals, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
  • Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with clinical technology.
  • Ability to respond decisively to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
