Role: Coordinates and supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and supports professional growth and unit improvements.
- Assists with staff orientation, performance appraisals, scheduling, and resource management.
- Addresses performance issues and enforces policies and regulations.
- Communicates care activities and unit operations to team members and management.
- Supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, and promotes a collaborative environment.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and effective use of resources.
- Addresses patient and family concerns, documents incidents, and follows up on unit issues.
Qualifications: Enrolled in or graduate of a nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a clinical environment with a focus on safety and quality.
