Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, while addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, coordinates, and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjusts care accordingly.
- Participates in unit-based decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
- Engages in patient and family education, discharge planning, and promotes positive patient experiences.
- Collaborates proactively with physicians and staff to meet patient needs and resolve issues.
- Maintains competency in caring for cardiac patients, including managing cardiac drips and stroke protocols.
- Assesses patient responses and promotes safe, compassionate care aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required), Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Certification in ACLS is required for the role. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills are essential.
