Role Overview: A Clinical Team Coordinator RN supervises nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care through staff oversight, performance management, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and supervise team members, including onboarding and mentorship.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage staffing, supplies, and patient triage.
- Address performance issues, facilitate communication, and support evidence-based practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and unit policies.
- Support a healthy work environment aligned with Magnet principles and promote professional growth.
- Handle patient and family concerns, follow incident reports, and ensure proper documentation.
- Participate in policy development and unit improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; specialty training or experience preferred.
- Experience in cardiac care and leadership is advantageous.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
