Registered Nurse – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Role Overview: The Clinical Team Coordinator RN supervises nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care through leadership, coordination, and collaboration.

Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, supervise staff, assist with orientation, conduct performance appraisals, manage scheduling, and address performance issues. Facilitate communication among team members, participate in policy development, ensure regulatory compliance, and support evidence-based practices. Act as a resource, mentor staff, and promote a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles. Handle patient and family concerns, document incidents, and assist in resource management.

Qualifications & Skills: Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or graduation from a specialty nursing program; preferred Bachelor’s degree. Cardiac and leadership experience are advantageous. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential.

Key Duties: Coordinate nursing activities, oversee staffing, support staff development, ensure regulatory standards, and foster a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement. Work in a clinical setting, typically during evening shifts, with opportunities for growth and professional advancement.
