Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Telemetry Medsurg, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities:
- Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
- Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
- Ensuring safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
- Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
- Serving as preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
- Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in data collection, and adhering to policies and safety standards.
- Proactively planning patient care across care continuum and contributing to protocol development for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Completion of an approved nursing program with clinical hours.
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in direct patient care is preferred.
