Registered Nurse – Acute Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Role Overview: An Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, adhering to established standards and policies. They address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient safety, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. They actively engage in unit decision-making, evidence-based practice, and safety programs, while fostering compassionate interactions to enhance patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, formulate and implement care plans, and provide direct care.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and discharge planning.
  • Ensure patient safety, monitor treatment responses, and revise care as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and participate in safety and quality education activities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and prioritize patient needs.
  • Commitment to safety, quality care, and ongoing professional development.
