Under general supervision, performs professional nursing duties for patients in specified clinical areas.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited nursing program, and an associate’s degree in nursing. Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
Experience of at least 2 years in nursing is preferred.
Required certifications include RN licensure in Texas, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 1 year, and additional certifications such as NIH Stroke Scale within 1 year.
Additional preferred qualifications include relevant national certifications.
