Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
The Technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides instructions, and conducts imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Qualifications include an Associate degree or Trade School equivalency and certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Experience is preferred, especially in various imaging modalities such as MR, CT, X-ray, and interventional radiology.
Licenses required include IEMA certification (excluding MRI) and Radiology Technologist registration. CPR certification is a plus.
Key responsibilities involve patient preparation, performing imaging exams, and ensuring high-quality diagnostics with professionalism and customer service.
The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with no call duties.
Candidates with up to two years of experience are preferred, along with additional certifications such as CPR.
