Role Overview:
A Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures independently for adult and pediatric patients, including general radiography, portable exams, and occasional OR procedures. They work in-house, ER, and during overnight shifts, handling equipment like Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, providing high-quality customer service, and ensuring accurate imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications include an associate degree or higher, ARRT registration, and appropriate state licensure. Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification. The position requires independent operation of imaging equipment, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures with professionalism.
- Perform radiographic exams independently, including portable and emergency room procedures.
- Work occasionally in the Operating Room and assist with departmental tasks.
