Radiology Technologist – PRN

Role Overview:

The Radiology Technologist (PRN) performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions with professionalism, and executing radiographic exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures. The role requires a focus on delivering high-quality, timely imaging services with excellent customer care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or trade school certification in radiologic technology
  • Licenses: Radiology Technologist – Registered; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI)
  • Preferred: at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification
  • Ability to perform procedures independently and respond effectively in various situations

Key Duties:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
  • Instruct patients and ensure comfort and understanding
  • Perform radiographic exams efficiently and accurately
  • Respond promptly to department requests and maintain high standards of patient care
