Role Overview:
Seeking a Radiology Technologist for a PRN position at a Convenient Care location, primarily during after-hours shifts. The role involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid diagnosis and treatment.
The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides clear instructions, and conducts imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures. Requirements include an associate degree or trade school training, radiology technologist licensure, and IEMA certification if applicable. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience and CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring high-quality customer service and professionalism.
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures independently, including portable and on-call exams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational background in radiologic technology.
- Licensing and certification as a Radiology Technologist; IEMA certification for Illinois (excluding MRI).
- Preferred experience of two years and CPR certification.
