Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time General Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting radiographic examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures, with a focus on excellent customer service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions.
- Perform radiographic exams independently, including portable and on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a trade school; current enrollment in a Radiology School Program is acceptable.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience preferred but not mandatory; new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Licensing for Illinois (IEMA) or other relevant certifications.
Additional Details:
- Experience in MR, CT, RT, X-ray, or related radiology fields is advantageous.
