Role Overview:
This position is for a Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including radiographic exams, portable exams, and occasional work in the Operating Room (OR). The role involves working with advanced imaging equipment, such as Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems, primarily in the emergency room and inpatient settings.
Key duties include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist may work overnight shifts (Monday–Thursday) and is expected to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications include an Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology, ARRT certification in Radiography, and a valid license (e.g., IEMA for Illinois). No experience is necessary, but 2+ years of experience and CPR certification are preferred. The role welcomes new grads, upcoming grads, and experienced technologists.
