Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
Key Duties: Ensure correct patient identification and preparation, utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply safety principles to minimize risk. Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed. Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with interventional procedures. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MR certification; graduate of a radiologic technology training program; preferred bachelor’s degree. Fully proficient in routine and complex procedures, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and organizational priorities.
