Position: Radiologic Technologist
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper imaging protocols. Prepare and administer medications and document radiation activities in compliance with regulations. Evaluate images for quality, assist licensed practitioners, and educate students and healthcare providers. Handle procedures in various clinical settings, including operating rooms and ICU.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program; ARRT-R registry within 6 months for new graduates; proficiency in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles. Ability to prepare medications, evaluate images, and assist practitioners. Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care.
Key Duties:
- Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history.
- Optimize imaging protocols, ensure patient safety, and adhere to legal and institutional policies.
- Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures across various clinical environments.
- Evaluate image quality and manage data archiving and transfer.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
