Role Overview:
A Radiology Technologist performs general radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, working with adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and independently conducting imaging exams, including portable and on-call tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring clear communication and professionalism.
- Perform radiographic examinations independently and as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency, with current enrollment in a Radiology program acceptable.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Up to 2 years of experience, relevant licenses, and CPR certification.
Additional Details:
- New grads and experienced techs are encouraged to apply.
- Day shift, four days a week, with no call or weekend work.
