Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiology imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating patients of all ages. The Technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts radiographic examinations independently, and provides exceptional customer service with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, inform patients about procedures, and ensure smooth operation of imaging tasks.
- Perform radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures, with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a trade school, or current enrollment in a radiology program (applicants in training are welcome).
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and BLS certification.
- Experience is preferred but not required; new grads and students are encouraged to apply.
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) are advantageous.
Additional Details:
- Work on a day shift, four days a week, with no call or weekend shifts.
