Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, supporting adult and pediatric patients across various departments, including ED and ICU. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides clear instructions, and conducts imaging exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient and equipment readiness for procedures with high professionalism and customer service.
- Perform imaging examinations accurately and independently, adhering to department protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency; enrollment in Radiology School acceptable if within 6 months.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and BLS certification.
- No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided. Preferred: Level 1 trauma center experience, 2+ years of related experience, and additional certifications like ARRT or ARMRIT.
