Role: Charge Radiology Technologist
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiology for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring quality and accuracy. Prepare patients and equipment, provide high-level customer service, and independently conduct radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures. Manage shift operations, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot equipment or IT issues. Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and assist in training students or new employees. Act as a liaison between the team and leadership, communicating effectively and escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Trade School education, 2-5 years of experience, radiology technologist certification, and IEMA license (excluding MRI). Preferred qualifications include 5-10 years of experience and CPR certification. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are essential.
Key Duties: Prepare patients and equipment, perform imaging exams, oversee daily workflow, and support team development. Assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence and ensure optimal patient care and department efficiency.
