Role Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, explaining procedures with professionalism, and independently conducting radiographic examinations, including portable and on-call services. The technologist ensures high-quality, timely results and excellent patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Trade School education.
- Licenses including Radiology Technologist Registration; IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI); CPR certification preferred.
- Experience is preferred, with a minimum of no experience required.
- Ability to perform procedures independently and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Provide instructions and maintain high customer service standards.
- Perform radiographic exams efficiently, including portable and on-call procedures.
