Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Charge CT Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies, and assisting with complex exams while serving as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and students. The technologist will oversee shift operations, troubleshoot issues, communicate effectively with supervisors, and ensure proper supply management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- 2-5 years of experience; preferred 5-10 years with additional certifications
- Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES (as applicable)
- Experience in advanced imaging modalities like CT, MRI, or related fields preferred
- Strong problem-solving, mentorship, and communication skills
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings
- Manage shift workflow, assign tasks, and escalate issues when necessary
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and support department operations
- Assist in training new staff and students
