Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Advanced Modality – Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging) responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular, and Hybrid OR fluoroscopy. The role involves supporting vascular procedures, monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, and working closely with healthcare providers during procedures. Cross-training opportunities in scrubbing are available, offering a chance to expand skills beyond general radiology. The position offers exposure to state-of-the-art Siemens equipment, emphasizing accuracy and clarity in complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations
- Support in vascular and cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor patient responses, and assist in sterile setups
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)))
- Experience is welcomed but not mandatory; new grads are encouraged to apply
- Licenses and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are preferred
- Additional certifications like CPR and IV Therapy are advantageous
