Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in general radiology, utilizing advanced imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and interventional techniques. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensures quality control. Experience in operating C-arm and O-arm equipment in the operating room is highly preferred, along with the ability to assist with portable x-ray and other imaging support as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures.
- Performing diagnostic studies accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with advanced imaging modalities and intraoperative imaging needs.
- Supporting coverage for portable x-ray and emergency department imaging when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or equivalent.
- One year of operating room (C-arm) experience is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, or related licenses are advantageous.
- Experience in trauma, CT, or general radiology is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Additional Details:
- No call or weekend shifts; work four days per week with day shift hours.
