Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in general radiology, utilizing advanced modalities such as C-arm, portable X-ray, and intraoperative imaging. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, operates imaging devices independently, and may assist in coverage for other teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate C-Arms, O-Arms, and portable X-ray machines for intraoperative and diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Perform imaging studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
- Assist with advanced imaging modalities if qualified.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Preferred experience in operating room, intraoperative imaging, or advanced modalities like CT or MRI.
- Licenses such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, or equivalent are desirable.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient safety, and equipment operation.
Key Duties:
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment and ensure quality control.
- Collaborate with surgical and radiology teams to deliver accurate imaging.
- Possibly assist with coverage for other radiology teams as required.

- Work a four-day day shift with no call or weekend requirements.
