Radiology Technologist (C-arm)

Role Overview:

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in general radiology, utilizing advanced modalities such as C-arm, portable X-ray, and intraoperative imaging. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, operates imaging devices independently, and may assist in coverage for other teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate C-Arms, O-Arms, and portable X-ray machines for intraoperative and diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Perform imaging studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
  • Assist with advanced imaging modalities if qualified.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
  • Preferred experience in operating room, intraoperative imaging, or advanced modalities like CT or MRI.
  • Licenses such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient safety, and equipment operation.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure proper patient positioning and safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure quality control.
  • Collaborate with surgical and radiology teams to deliver accurate imaging.
  • Possibly assist with coverage for other radiology teams as required.

Additional Information:

  • Work a four-day day shift with no call or weekend requirements.
  • Earn extra holiday pay for designated holidays.
  • Must have at least 1 year of OR or C-arm experience; advanced modality experience is preferred.
