Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients, with a focus on orthopedic and imaging services. The Technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides instructions, and conducts imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures accurately and independently.
- Assist with on-call, portable exams, and departmental tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
- Licenses including IEMA (excluding MRI) and Radiology Technologist registration.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience and CPR certification.
- No prior experience required; supervision experience not necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Some call rotation (every 8th-9th week) and holiday rotation (1-2 per year) are required.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and technical skills are essential.
