Role: A full-time Registered Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring patient safety, and providing age-appropriate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols, evaluating image quality and ensuring proper patient identification.
- Assist radiologists with procedures, adhere to safety standards, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection control policies.
- Provide compassionate patient care, respecting patient needs and promoting Patient Family Centered care.
- Operate imaging equipment independently, set up procedures, and position patients correctly.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS certifications (Instructor, Basic Life Support, or ARC-BLS).
- Ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and communicate effectively.
- Excellent patient service skills and dependability.
