Radiography Technologist I provides high-quality diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations by performing radiographic exams using modern imaging equipment.
Key Duties
- Position patients safely and competently for diagnostic imaging.
- Operate radiographic equipment and ensure image quality.
- Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and other established protocols.
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other technologists to support patient care.
- Document and manage accurate exam information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote patient comfort and provide basic education and support during imaging.
Qualifications & Skills
- Training and credentials to perform radiographic exams.
- Strong patient-safety, positioning, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection-prevention practices.
- Detail-oriented EMR documentation and workflow accuracy.
