Allied Radiology Tech / X-Ray Tech
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic exams to deliver high-quality imaging for diverse patient populations. Ensure imaging is completed accurately according to provider orders while maintaining strict radiation safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
Key Duties
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostically accurate images.
- Follow provider orders and apply appropriate imaging protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety practices and comply with regulatory standards.
- Apply infection prevention and control procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and care teams to support efficient patient flow.
- Use modern PACS/EMR systems to capture, review, and manage imaging data.
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflow requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant radiology/x-ray technology training and credentials/licensure (as required).
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency with PACS/EMR tools for imaging documentation and tracking.
- Excellent patient interaction skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
