We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with advanced procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and other critical care interventions.
- Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring optimal image quality with proper documentation before submitting to radiologists.
- Monitoring patient condition, assessing cooperation, and responding to emergency situations appropriately.
- Promoting efficient patient flow, maintaining department workflow, and fostering positive relationships with staff, physicians, and patients.
- Completing charges, operating PACS and EMR systems accurately, and ensuring proper image archiving.
- Adhering to patient satisfaction standards and organizational values.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of an accredited radiology program.
- Current ARRT registration, SCRQSA certification (South Carolina), and CPR certification.
- Proficient in customer service, teamwork, office equipment, computer skills, PACS, and EMR systems.
This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and accurate imaging.
