Role Overview:
This position is for a Certified Board Simulation Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering patient treatments using advanced radiation therapy techniques, under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. It involves preparing patients and charts, ensuring accurate treatment delivery, and coordinating treatment schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer ionizing radiation treatments with precision.
- Perform CT simulation, treatment planning scans, and IV starts.
- Operate state-of-the-art treatment machines such as TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, and Hyperthermia.
- Utilize modern treatment techniques like SBRT, SRS, Adaptive, and Hypersite.
- Assist in patient preparation and treatment coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Board Certified by ARRT (RT(T)).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related fields.
- Experience in treatment delivery is advantageous but not required.
